Hi Nina: Check your sources on Elliot. Lets suppose he was at least 18 years of age in 1898, the time of the Spanish American War and WWII started in earnest in 1942 after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. If he was 18 in 1898 he would be at least 62 years old in 1942. I doubt if he served in both wars. I went to the Korean War in Jan.1951, at age 17 and that was 52 years ago and I'm a little too old to serve now; but I guess if pushed, I could. (Just kidding) Lloyd
