As I told Bennie, I am just dumbfounded! None of the wars I know about fit great Uncle Alonzo's age..he is too young for the ones I know about.

UNLESS....the enumerator recorded the number in his spot by mistake instead of recording it on his father's line!!!!! Maybe it was my great grandfather Anderson Bentley that served "5" years in a war.
Anderson was born in 1842 in Georgia....hummmmmmm...
OH WELL....now I am getting loopy....thanks again
