Valencia, The 92nd Infantry Division's 371st Infantry Regiment trained at Fort McClellan. The 365th Regument trained at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. The 370th Regiment trained at Camp Robinson, Arkansas. After the 93rd Infantry Division departed for maneuvers, the three regiments of the 92nd came together at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The Division engaged in maneuvers there in the fall of 1943, and in Louisiana in the spring of 1944. The 92nd served in Northwest Italy during the final ten months of the war. The 366th Infantry Regiment and the 442nd Regimental Combat Team (Nisei) were attached to the Division. The 366th Regiment was all-black from the commander on down. The 442nd were Japanese-Americans and was the most decorated infantry unit in the United States Army.
