Thank you so much for your insight and caution. Black military history is one of the most important chronicles of the African-American legacy. For over five centuries Africans in America were and are an integral part of shaping this country.

In a recent e-mail Tony observed that there no need to exaggerate or fluff up our contributions to American military history. Our history stands on its own. There are plenty of documents that tell our story and more.

I wish I had more time to write more....but I have an appointment.
