Thanks Lee; for posting the article on Mark Matthews, who will be 109 years old on Thursday and is the "oldest surviving member of the original Buffalo Soldiers". He joined the 10th Cavalry when he was 16 years old in 1910 and was stationed at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, which was still using local Indians as guides.He lives with his daughter in Washington, D.C. Bennie; we now need to find out how many Buffalo Soldiers in total are left. Lloyd
