Hi there!

My uncle, Charles Parish Jr., died February 15, 1945. He was with the 667th Quartermaster Truck Company and I believe stationed in France at the time(I know he is buried at a Cemetery in Brittany France). Anyway, I've been told by the records office that his records have either been destroyed in a fire or are otherwise unlocatable. Charles was unmarried at the time of his death, but is rumored to have had a son. Besides the personnel records, is there any other way I can verify offspring? Is there any other way to get personnel information?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
