Howard Johnson II
Private First Class Howard Johnson, II -- Graced the world with his presence when his proud parents, Dr. Howard and Gloria Johnson announced his arrival on the Twenty Seventh of January, Nineteen Hundred Eighty-Two. He was such a beautiful baby boy and he was the third child and also the only son. Then, on his departure the Twenty-Third day of March, Two Thousand Three, while serving in the United States Army and assigned to the 507 Maintenance Company, after receiving orders to deploy to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Being well aware of the risks involved, this young courageous soldier, our hero, our son, our brother, our prince, made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of his country. The all-powerful, almighty, omnipresent, omnipotent God, THE GOD WHO NEVER MAKES A MISTAKE, the God who knows how much we can bear, the Grand Chancellor of the Universe, commissioned the death angle to escort Howard to his Heavenly Home. His soul winged flight from the uncertain world of war to an eternal everlasting peaceful serene and tranquil place of joy and gladness known only to Jesus. Howard and others who have joined them is resting in the powerful arms of our Savior. This young man knew Jesus in the pardon of his sins. He united with the Truevine Missionary Baptist Church Family Inc. and at the age of four was baptized by his father. While at Truevine, he participated in the church school ministry, the music ministry as a percussionist, and he was a member of the youth ministry. The family finds comfort in knowing that God will take care of us. He hears our cry and pits our every groan. Thanks to our Lord because your grace is sufficient and we know that you won't let our hearts be troubled. Thank you Lord for twenty-one years of precious memories and we rest assured with the highest degree of certainty, he made it. Welcome Home Private First Class Howard Johnson, II.
