AA in Spanish American War from North Carolina

I wanted to share this with anyone who is interested. I came across this while searching for family history in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The Colored Company I, Third Regiment in Fayetteville, North Carolina during the Spanish American War. The article from the book "The Story of Fayetteville", shows the following named individuals and it states that most of these soliders were from Fayetteville, but some came from all over the state of North Carolina.

This article also states that this company was mustered out at Macon Georgia on February 8th, 1899 and that they did not go to Cuba.

I thought this was very interesting. I found some of my own famil names as well while searching.

Hopefully some of you will find family names.
