Also let us not forget the men and women who were charter members of the National Airmen Association of America (Before the Tuskegee Airmen), Lewis Jackson, Director of Training, C. Alfred "Chief" Anderson, Chief Flight Instructor, and the civilian flight instructors of the 66th Army Air Corps Flight Training Detachment that taught the cadets (future Tuskegee Airmen) how to fly.
