The NY State archives include the roster of names and descriptions of soldiers who served in the "Nine" during WWI. The archive entitled "Harlem Hellfighters" offers digitized records of the men who served in the Regiment.

The database is searchable by name and what a find! I found one soldier whom I've been researching for quite some time.
