Thank you for posting this information. I received a similar but not as detailed account from the National Archives in Washington. I wrote for my great uncle's records and they said his records were in a set that were burned. They referred me to the Adjunct General's Office for the State of Ohio (which I believe is in Worthington, Ohio) for the National Guard records for any possible details about him. The abstract next to his name list AEF, ONG and a couple outfits in the missive submitted in your post.
