You must be looking at the roster rolls listed on the internet.

Charles Bush is listed in the Confederate rosters on microfilm, he paraded with the United Confederate Veterans, and his family have pics of him on parade wearing his reunion medals. I've seen one of the pics and he sure stands proud.
