Thanks so much for sharing some of your research with us. It's information like this that connects us to our ancestor's experience in the Civil War. I was particularly interested in Ft. Pickens. Nearby Barrancas Cemetery lists 154 men from the U.S. Colored Troops and adds another 98 as unknown. I remember using a database that listed USTC colored troops interred there. But I forgot the regiment. Could they have been men from the 25th?
