To Whom it may concern,
Recently on February 19th the St Louis Science Center hosted the "Tuskegee Airmen" for one day only. I was unable to attend due to being hospitalized do to my Gulf War illness. I am a veteran of 12 years in the Air Force and have long admired such men like George S. Roberts, Benjamin O. Davis, Jr., Charles H. BeBow, Jr., Mac Ross, and Lemuel R. Custis. I have a few heroes in my life and General Davis, and General Doolittle are two men I aspire to be most like. I wish I could have been well enough to have been at the Science Center that day so I could have saluted the true blooded Americans that had to go through so much to place their wings on their chests. If you have any way to pass along a message to the remaining members of the group, please tell them that this young Air Force veteran thanks them for there service even if the country that they fought for didn't do it when they returned home. God Bless, and keep them flying
