For starters suggest you take a chance and order only the service record for Moses Adams since he served in a regiment organized in Mississippi. Review it before ordering the pension record, if one is on file.
Moses Adams held the rank of Corporal in Company K, 53rd U. S. Colored Infantry Regiment. The regiment was organized at Warrentown, Mississippi during May, 1863 as the 3rd Regiment Mississippi Volunteers.
