One hundred forty-four pages -- Regimental history, sketches of deceased officers, roll of surviving officers, roster of non-commissioned officers and staff, roster of enlisted personnel by company, and statistics of enlisted men. The book lists the birthplaces of the enlisted by state. The highest number were born in Ohio - 222. Next were Pennsylvania (139) and Virginia (106). Some were born as far away as Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Iowa, etc. One was born in Africa and another in Nova Scotia. Five hundred ninety-six were farmers. Bennie
