PBS.org is air a special for Black History Month on "American Experience" (African-Americans Building the Alaska Highway). Very interesting information. There are some interviews with African American solders who were actually there and help build the highway. It also documents some of the problems African America soliders had to endure since the military at that time was segregated. In my area it comes on Monday, February 9th. If you go to PBS.org site there is more information.
