**Ossie Davis, Actor, Is Dead at 87
[In the many films and other work of his long career, Davis had at least two roles related to Alabama topics: in 1998 he narrated the documentary _Tuskegee Airmen: American Heroes!_ and one of his earliest film roles was a small part in _The Joe Louis Story_ [1953]. Ironically, the actor who played Louis in that film, Corey Wallace, died on January 30. See
