Black Living Historians and Reenactors For 372nd I

Hello,

In addition to My 372nd Book project with Jim Ball and Historic research. We are also looking for Blacks to Portray the 372nd Infantry for WW1 reenactments,Living Histories,Parades and other educational activities. We hope to have members from all the regiments states that it was built from.See the capsule history posting on this forum about the 372nd.I started this unit with the help of Jim Ball and my brother kevin 1989.We are a unit with the Great war Association and participate in authentic WW1 reccreations on the site of over 75 acres trenches barbwire dug outs etc.

This unit has been overlooked for WW1 history. It too served with the French in WW1 and fought just as well as other oufits. This regiment's origins and be traced back to 1863.When it comes to Blacks in WW1,most folks only think of the 369th.All males over 18 are encouraged to join us.This unit has high standards for authenticity.
To do it any otherway would be a disgrace to the men we are representing. Many of us are blood relatives of some of the men.Unit reccreated in memory of Pvt.George Ford Co.A 372nd Inf. 93rd Div.and others .
