The 371st and 372nd drew French equipment and weapons ONLY. They retained their U.S. issue uniforms and were issued (per AEF GHQ directive) extra sugar in place of the wine ration.

My research partner and I have been researching the 372nd for approx. 15 years and are making final preparations for a definitive regimental history to be published. We also have some info pertinent to the 371st, as the two served in the 157e D.I. together.
