My husband watched your interview on c-span Sunday with great interest as he was your crew chief and the last to see you before your fateful accident.

Larry speaks very little of his years in the far east, but he shared found memorable stories you and how you influenced his life.

Larry left the military after 12 years. He spoke very little of the experiences until 9/11. We had a daughter and son-in-law who lived and worked in the trade center...but as fate would have it they were out of the state that day. Nonetheless, as themes of war once again became a part of our lives, Larry began to share memories of the past. And the stories of Captain Cherry rank high on the list.
