I just came back from my first research trip to Halifax County, NC. I found a book in the local library that mentioned that one of my great uncles served in WWI in the 365th Infantry HQ Division. It said he'd served in France. I knew my uncle had been in the Army but not much else about his service. How would I go about confirming this information? thanks for any suggestions.
