Ladies and Gentlemen,

The attached photo is of my Great Uncle Harry Nickens, from Lancaster County, VA. Some in his family say he served in the Spanish American War. Others say the Civil War. He would not have been born during the Civil War, and 15 in 1902 at the end of the Spanish American War. Perhaps he exaggerated his age to get in. Does anyone recognize this uniform, which war is it for? Harry was born 1887 and died in 1926. I do not have a date for the photograph.

Any information would be appreciated.
