1) Write to Adjutant General Office at State Capital of state where
your relatives enlisted and ask for a summary of War service.
World War I certainly and probably World War II as well
2) Then check the Internet for any Veteans Associations for either
the REgiment/and or Division your relative served in. If there is a
Newsletter write a brief query asking if anyone remembers relative
and or if any photos of said relation are in Association Archives
