The links that you provided were so informative. Some of the books listed and reviewed on your site will be on my bookshelves by next week.

I enjoyed reading about The USS Mason. My father tried to enlist in the Navy as an officer and was rejected....guess why? I have all of his rejection letters. It's amazing what people would write back then. On a more positive note my father saved all the correspondence from his then lawyer Leroy Collins and Claude Pepper who tried to help him.
