Hi Tony and Katerina, Tony, I agree that movies and TV are about the money, that's why I rarely watch either. What passes for popular entertainment just isn't interesting to me anymore, maybe I'm too old, but much of what's on TV or in the theaters seems silly to me. I'd rather read or lurk on Afrigeneas However, I was looking forward to watching the movie version of the Battle of the Crater to see what it might have felt like. Once I read the Director's comments I wasn't interested anymore. He can put out what he wants, I can avoid his movies: the beauty of capitalism. Tony, believe me, I learned long ago not to look for reality in the movies. All I want is to be marginally entertained for a while in a movie that justifies the cost of a babysitter, tickets, popcorn and a soda. If that's not possible, I'd rather stay home with a good book or go for a long walk. Katerina, I'm glad you're telling your filmaker friends what people think about this movie. I sometimes feel as if the creators of pop culture keep recycling the same idea over and over again. Maybe it's the economics of the industry, but no one seems able to take a risk and create something new. In the meantime, I'll be voting with my pocketbook and staying away from the movies. Take Good Care, Lee
