My name is Ron Tarburton and I have been doing research on
recipients of the Medal of Honor for thirty years. Over the last year I have concentrated much of my efforts in the area of those African Americans who had the distinction of receining our country's highest award for valor. A great deal that is quite new and nothing less than astounding has been learned in recent times and I am nothing
less than excited to learn about your online forum.

I am with a group in Delaware called the First State Medal of Honor Roundtable and we have long been on the cutting edge of historical research in this field.
