Hello:

Is there any way of tracing Military Units in post war Germany in Giessen and the surrounding areas?

I am looking for the names of African-Americans who were posted in the Giessen and Frankfort area. Since the Army was desegregated during some of those years, is it still possible to find a roster of names?

Please note that I am not looking for a specific name. Just a roster or at least the units that were stationed in this area.
