I have had communication with someone who gave me the e-address for the National Archives to request historical reports. I'd still like to do that just to see what they may come up with. My sister has requested a copy of our Dad's service record, also.

I don't know when you are going to make your trip to the NPRC, but it doesn't seem likely that we'll get any information before your trip.
