Hi, Vicky. There is a book, "Black Knights: The Story Of The Tuskegee Airmen", by Lynn Holman and Thomas Reilly. According to this book, William A. Leslie graduated from pilot training school, class 45-G, on October 16, 1945 as a 2nd Lt. His serial number was 02082651. His hometown was listed as Boston, Mass. He was probably living in Boston when he was drafted but was born elsewhere. I know that my dad's hometown was listed as Cleveland, Ohio (where he was raised) but he was born in Dayton, TN. Take care!
