Thanks for the links. Interesting stuff. It looks like this young writer really stepped in it. I think he can take away from this that he needs to choose his words more carefully. I think that if he had stuck to just conveying his emotional response to seeing so few African-American visitors at a few of the war memorials, it would have been fine but I think his poor choice of words got his critics off topic and into anaylzing his emotional responses as factual positions.
