1900 FT Missoula - 24th Inf.
While doing some research, I found the following men. These men were part of the 24th Inf. " Buffalo Soldiers", who were station at Ft. Missoula Mt. from 1896 to after 1900. These men were part of the US Armies Bicycle Corp. In 1898 these men rode their bicycles to St. Louis, Mo., 1,900 miles. Returning to Missoula by train. Some of these names maybe the same men who made that famous ride.
I've included their name, rank, home state, and date of birth.
This was found in 1900 census, Montana, Missoula Co., Ft. Missoula.
