A memo came across my desk this afternoon about two books that were donated to the Academic Library at the college where I work.
The name of the books are called "Whence They Came: The Families of United States Colored Troops in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania 1815-1995" and "United States Colored Troops Civil War Digest" The author is Harry Bradshaw Matthews and he is the Preisdent of the USCT Institute at Hartwick College.
