I just wanted to clarify that I actually WAS able to find my ancestor in the pension indexes on Footnote. I'm not sure if they have all of the actual military records for the USCT listed because I was unable to find him by doing a "general" search but when I specifically searched the pension records, his card was there.
So maybe they need to link the search engine better or something.
