Searching for letters, journals, and other personal documents referencing the life and military service of Charles F. Redding of Massachusetts. According to his military service record, he served as a landsman from 1862-1867. He is also listed as a member of the crew of the USS Kearsarge who participated in the historic fight against the CSS Alabama in 1864. Any and all help appreciated.
