Searching for letters, journals, and other personal and public documents referencing the life and military service of James L. Baldwin, who served as a sergeant in Company G of the Fifty-sixth U.S. Colored Infantry during the Civil War. Baldwin survived his army service and lived in Arkansas, where he applied for a disability pension in 1889. Any and all help appreciated.
