I wanted to see if everyone here was aware that DAR has a book out called "Forgotten Patriots: African-American and American Indian Patriots in the Revolutionary War".
This is a huge book filled with a voluminous amount of state-by-state data. I wasn't lucky enough to have found an ancestor yet involved in this war, but at $35 + S& H, this book is a steal for anybody's collection. The bibliographies for each state are probably worth the price alone, but there is so much more.
