Looking for any information on an Earl Florence, of Chapel Hill, Orange County, North Carolina. Apparently, he initially served at Camp Grant, Company 22, 161st Depot Brigade. Transferred to Company A, 307th Labor Battalion, 371st Infantry Regiment, A.E.F., A.P.O. 705. Transferred to U. S. Base Hospital 208, Bordeaux, France. He died while in service in Hoboken, New Jersey (either at Camp Merritt or Camp Dix), April 6, 1918 or 1919.
