Re: To Lloyd and Joe (371st Infantry Regiment, WW1

I was told by a son of Thomas Lee an greatgrandfather (in-law) that served in the 369th and was from Karachi, India I did located him in the 1930 NYC census his birth place states VA and there is a check in one of the column that he served in WWI. I have tried to obtain his birth certificate (died 1935) with no success because there were three others Thomas Lee buried in the National Cemetery in NY (Long Island & Brooklyn) and not sure of his exact birthday. Also did get from NY State Archives a service card which is extremely difficulty to read, there were three (3) Thomas Lee and have have tried to obtain new ones for the last ten years but keep getting no found records from them. Since I do not have a correct service number, is there any other way I can find out if he served in the 369th, like a roster of the unit and please explain the breakdown of the various infantries and unit of the Harlem Hellfighters. Any other suggestion as to how I can obtain anything on Thomas Lee would be welcome
