Re: Bennie can you help with this?

Hi Bennie and Lee, thank you to the both of you for your helpfulness! When I was reading over the posts, I tend to think that the one that would prob. be the one that fits the most as far as service record is concerned would be the one that had Henry Thompson
Personel Information
Place of Bitrh-Richmond Virginia
Age-18
Complexion-Negro
Occupation-Waiter
Height-5'2''

Naval Service
Place of Enlistment-Washington (I am wondering if that would be D.C? If so that would make sense since Henry's children were born in D.C. according to the census records, sometimes it was listed as Virginia-but being so close to that location I can see how both could be used)
Date of Enlistment-November 15, 1863. (the U.S.S. Michigan/Wolverine the date of Enlistment was April 6th)

But when I was talking to Rodger we both agreed that this one comes the nearest to what information we have about Henry. I also went online to the Erie Society for Genealogical Research and there was a section in there for cemeteries, I think that I might of Found Henry's grave as well as Fannie's. It had Henry's birth date as Aug. 16 1854 (I knew it was August because of the 1900 census record but this confirmed it) and his death date as march 5, 1930.

Well I am still researching away...
Thank you again!

Tina
