How do I know which one?
My Grandmother's brother Fred MOORE, PFC (full name Eben Fred Moore) was KIA WWII. The list of Jasper County, Ga Casualties are for Army and Air Force. Researching I also learned there was an Army Air Force. I searched the AAD/NARA WWII Army enlistments and he is not listed...so does that mean he was Air Force. Wouldn't Army Airforce be included in the database?
I have his service # and place of enlistment (Ft. Benning).
I believe I need to know the branch in which he served in order to send for records from the appropriate agency?
