Hi Jim, Thanks, your response does help. The aspect of segregation seems to start way before the actual induction into the military. We know society was segregated by law or de facto so the "Draft process" shouldn't surprise us. The Draft Registration cards that are in online databases are almost humerous when they record Race. I've seen Black, African, Ethiopian (sp), Abbasyian, Colored & Negro to name a few. Art Thomas
