Not with 1917 rifles, web equipment, and leather jerkins. The four regiments of the provisional 93rd Div. went over with 1917's and web, and came home with same plus overseas caps, but not jerkins either way. Those were strictly an item issued to troops at the front, and were not used by the French (who equipped the 369th-372nd). Our research has not turned up a single DOCUMENTABLE image or account of anyone from any of those four regiments wearing or posessing one at any time between 01/01/18 and 03/30/19.

More likely that they are pioneer infantry or engineers.
