Now, what 'd I say!! I didn't realize I was speaking with Madame President!! Congratulations!! Now,then my name is Robert E. BROOME,Sr. and my ggggrandfather, Wm. BROOME's daughter,Bettie(Betsy), married a Frederick Fayette YOUNG. Mr. YOUNG was born in North Carolina. His mother's name appears to be Chana YOUNG. The marriage happened in November 1868 in Troup County, Georgia. In 1869 they had a son named Willie YOUNG. I know little else about Frederick except that he was a United States Colored Troop. I believe he was Infantry. I am waiting on his packet to come from the National Archives in Washington, D.C.
