Hello. I am searching for the kin of a man named Jewel/Jules Barnes who would have been born around 1886. He lived at England, Arkansas with a White family, the Harpers, and perhaps married in 1908 in Lonoke County.
The daughter of the family taught Jewel to read using the Bible. He used the initals J.B. a lot and was a well known Baptist preacher of the times in central Arkansas. It is believed he was in Texas when last heard from back during WWII.
I have booklet that he wrote back in his time of preaching.
