OK.. what are the names, approximate dates of birth, approximate dates of death, spouse name, names of children and locations of your most distant relatives (that you have found thus far)

Example, for me I would say my GGGGGrandfather was:

William Salmond born approximately 1805, death was sometime between 1880-1900, had 3 (known) children named Mary, Ellen and Issac, was married to a woman named Sarah and lived in Kershaw South Carolina.

Do you understand what I mean? If you are able to provide this type of information, I (or someone else on these boards) can better guide you where to look and or what documents you will want to obtain to go back into further generations and/or document the oral history that you already have.
