Question for you.....Is your grandfather still alive? If not, when did he pass. If he has passed, you can obtain a death certificate and that should list the names of his parents.

Another question for you.... does/did you grandfather have any brothers or sisters that you can ask questions? (They would be your great-aunts or great-uncles) When ever I want to know about someone the first thing that I tend to do is ask relatives questions.
