You've read a book, or a newspaper, or magazine article that you consider historic and important, concerning African Americans. Or maybe you're aware of verifiable stories about African Americans that you've heard.

This forum isn't just about the history of African Americans found in schools and the other expected places.
But your sources should be cited, and they should be reputable (within reasonable expectations).

Lots of history doesn't make it to the mainstream...especially African American history!

Help us get our history (stories) out there for the world to see.

History affects us all differently...especially the history that affects less than the masses, directly.

Share with us the history that's meaningful to you...and tell us why...and cite the sources that helped bring you to your conclusions and sentiments.

Our opinions won't change the facts, but the facts can change us (often, for the better), when we know them.

And, discussing the facts can help with our understanding of how we've become who we are, as a people!
