If she was an adult (21 years old) before 1920, she did not have the right to vote! Few women had the right to vote in most states of the U.S. before 1920 . The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution is what (finally) gave all adult U.S. females voting rights.

African American men & women helped to champion Women's Suffrage , along with Universal Suffrage . Several other counties around the world actually had women voters before the United States!

Many of those who helped colonize this land declared that they would not be taxed unless represented in government. The most basic form of representation in government is to vote one's choice(s).

It should be understood by our grandchildren, that we excercized our right to vote!
