Thanks for sharing. I have not experienced this personally with a family member, but have been on the sidelines with friends who are going through this. The one thing that seems to come up every time is trying not to take things personal when it comes to the caring of the loved one. I know it's easy to say it, but doing it can be difficult.

There are many resources out there now. I know of a family who took turns taking care of their mother. There were 7 of them and they lived in different cities, but that did not keep them from doing their part. It was all about LOVE.
